An expired bagel may still be edible depending on how long it has been expired and how it has been stored. If the bagel has been properly stored in an airtight container or in the freezer, it may still be safe to eat after the expiration date. However, if the bagel has been left out at room temperature or shows signs of mold or spoilage, it is best to discard it. It is always important to use your best judgment and consider the appearance and smell of the bagel before consuming it. **

The spiderweb-like green substance on your bagel is most likely mold. Mold can grow on bread products when they are exposed to moisture and warm temperatures. It is important to discard the affected bagel and any other food items that may have come into contact with the mold to prevent the spread of spores and potential health risks. To prevent mold growth in the future, store bread products in a cool, dry place and consume them before the expiration date. **

The main difference between a bagel and a donut is their ingredients and preparation. Bagels are made from a yeast dough that is boiled before baking, giving them a chewy texture and a slightly crispy crust. Donuts, on the other hand, are made from a sweet, enriched dough that is fried, resulting in a soft and fluffy texture. Additionally, donuts are often sweetened and can be filled or topped with various glazes, while bagels are typically savory and can be topped with seeds or spices. **
